I just sent an email to Juliet Johnson who is the communications chief for U.S. Rep. Diana DeGrette of Denver. DeGrette is the lead sponsor in trying to eliminate high-capacity magazines used in weapons such as the AR-15. The Democratic congresswomen said at a public forum today that magazines could not be reloaded. "The bullets will have been shot and there won't be any more (magazines) available," DeGrette said. DeGrette was mistaken, and Johnson later attempted to clarify what DeGrette meant.
